EAA 800 Meeting Minutes
12 May 2018

The meeting was called to order by Pres. Kim Neibauer at 10:45 AM.

Twenty members were present and one guest, Travis Reese, coordinator of the Fat Tire Jamboree.

Treasurer Ken Hurt reported $1,906.73 in checking and $25.01, savings. Annual dues are due.

April meeting minutes were read by Sterling Hurst and were approved by the members.

Travis Reese stated the Fat Tire Jamboree will be “very big this year” with 52 participants registered and estimated at least 72 meals needed. Logistics and duties of the EAA800/HAWK volunteers were discussed, i.e., safety watch of car, foot and aircraft traffic; sales and cash box; sign-in sheet; ice and ice chests; chairs, tables and food preparation; transportation for EAA writer Beth Stanton. Enthusiastic anticipation of the Jamboree is building already and the ‘MOS’ weather forecast looks good!

Michelle Hobbs is now an FAA Certified Ground Instructor. Congratulations to you, Michelle!
